TubacWhen in Tucson, playing Tucson City Golf properties allows you to choose your favorite design, from pleasant traditional layouts at Randolph Golf Complex and El Rio-Trini Alvarez Municipal Golf Course to courses displaying modern architecture with parkland themes at Dell Urich Golf Course and Silverbell Municipal Golf Course, or the challenging desert-style Fred Enke Municipal Golf Course.

Randolph is the former home of the PGA and LPGA Tours. Randolph, a par 72, measures 7,000 yards from the championship tees and 6,500 yards from the front tees. The scenic setting offers tall trees, lush fairways, five water hazards, and beautiful views of the mountains.

Dell Urich was rebuilt in 1995; it has also hosted the LPGA Tour. The par 70 measures 6,633 yards from the championship tees and 5,270 yards from the front tees. Dell Urich provides spectacular views as well as dramatic elevation changes. Its modern architecture and construction offer stark contrast to Randolph, its sister course.

El Rio, steeped in tradition, dates back to the 1930s and was the original site for the PGA’s Tucson Open. The layout features tight fairways, small greens, relatively flat terrain, two lakes, and numerous trees. El Rio, a par 70, measures 6,400 yards from the championship tees and 5,700 yards from the front tees.

Fred Enke offers golfers a challenging desert course design. Grass is used only on the tees, landing areas, and greens, with native plants comprising the remainder of the landscaping. Fred Enke, a par 72, is 6,800 yards from the championship tees and 5,000 yards from the front tees.

Silverbell, dramatically re-designed in 2005, features two large lakes and offers rolling fairways and ample size greens. Silverbell, a par 70, measures 6,900 yards from the championship tees and 5,300 yards from the front tees.
