In the East Valley near the San Tan mountain range, Trilogy Golf Club at Power Ranch offers a challenging test of golf by course architect Dick Bailey. Completed in 1999, the naturally undulating fairways are beautifully framed by the Sonoran Desert. The par-71 layout has striking views of the San Tan and Superstition Mountains and winds its way along Queen Creek wash in a section of the course sure to test even the most skilled golfers. The course plays between 4,918 and 6,807 yards with four sets of tees providing a good challenge for players of all abilities.

Following the moderate opening straightaway, Number 2 is a great risk/reward hole as a short par 4 of 347 yards with out-of-bounds left and desert to the right that taunts anyone wanting to hit big from any of the four tees.

The front nine also features one of the longest par 5 holes in Arizona, the 620-yard Number 7 that challenges golfers with numerous fairway bunkers and water hazards, and is made more difficult by mounding near the green.

The back nine turns east with views of the Superstition Mountains in the distance and begins with a mid-length par 4 and continues with a challenging par 3 that tests the player’s mid-iron and short games.

At 450 yards, Number 16 is the longest par 4 and most difficult hole on the course. A good tee shot will leave a mid- to long iron into an undulated green. Par is a great score on this difficult hole, which plays predominantly into the wind and is bordered by the Queen Creek wash.

The course finishes with a 413-yard par 4 with water on the right hidden from the tee. To score well, the approach must get to the correct level on the multi-tiered green.

After the round, guests may collect on bets while enjoying a meal in the club’s new Slate Bistro & Bar. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
